A bit about me.

Hi! Welcome. Hello.

I'm the Flapping Flamingo. I like to stay anonymous, because the idea of people knowing my business scares me.

I'm a medical student, in my twenties, and I was married (technically I still am.) It's a whole long ass story, but he was an asshole. He was manipulative, controlling, threatening. Emotionally abusive, essentially.

It was really hard to recognise, because, most of the time, it wasn't outward. I thought he was just upset, or maybe a little needy.

I'm not going to go on about it here, but look out for blog posts about my experience with him, cause I'll definitely publish bits at some point.

Aside from that, I am autistic, which is a pretty big part of my life. I am obsessed with birds, specifically flamingos. I have four of my own birds, who, on here, I refer to as L, R, P and S. L was my first bird, R my second, then P and S I got when I moved in with my ex, and started uni.

I love my birds more than anything. But, I also love music, and crochet. So, I'll definitely be sharing bits of that, too.

I've started seeing someone new, who, on here will be known as new guy. He's brilliant, but, because no one is perfect, he's currently on the other side of the world. It's not forever, only for a few months, but, that doesn't mean it doesn't suck.

I'm a whole entire person, so this isn't everything, but hopefully you'll read some of my blog, and get to know me :)
