Hi! Welcome. Hello. I'm the Flapping Flamingo. I like to stay anonymous, because the idea of people knowing my business scares me. I'm a medical student, in my twenties, and I was married (technically I still am.) It's a whole long ass story, but he was an asshole. He was manipulative, controlling, threatening. Emotionally abusive, essentially. It was really hard to recognise, because, most of the time, it wasn't outward. I thought he was just upset, or maybe a little needy.
